If you pay much attention to the labels on these photographs you will notice that this one has still life added to it. You say - butterflies are seldom still. This one is - you see this butterfly is no more. It isn’t alive and it won’t flutter by.

This is the first of a five part series that marks a couple of things for me. The biggest is that this is the first photo on the daily photo to be edited exclusively on Aperture 2.0. Aperture - she can be a fickle mistress - with aperture 2 much is forgiven. If you don’t use aperture it is hard to describe. Sure there is lightroom and photoshop - but for those of us who use it, For those of us who have cried when it was so painfully slow, aperture 2 is like a kiss on the check from your first love. Thank you Apple.
