I am laying in bed right now and writing this post on my iPod touch, so I hope you will forgive me for being brief.
Many moons ago I mentioned some traveling I was doing. I think it is time to tell you why. I started a new job three weeks ago and this new job required me to move to North Carolina. The new job requires me to work very closely with a couple of great computer programmers on a development team. When I started work on my economics degree I was often asked what you could do with that and I replied “anything!” Anything officially now includes software development.
The first week in NC I stayed in a hotel while looking for an apartment. That weekend my car died and I bought a new car. I am know very happily driving an ultra low emissions vehicle that gets well over 30 miles to the gallon’ and it is red!
The second week I was still in a hotel while I made the arrangements for my new apartment. It is nice on the inside and I have much more space than I used to.
Wednesday I got my broadband hooked up and it is fast for this area at about 7.5 mbps. I set up my wireless this week. I can now control my iTunes on both my desktop and laptop from my iPod. I love technology.
I think that is about all I have to say tonight other than I am working on the new blog theme and hope to launch it soon.
