Today marked three full months that I have been at my new employment and I am enjoying it. Tomorrow is my official 90 day review. I imagine it well go well, especially if imput is received from some of the people who work directly with me. About two weeks ago the company newsletter went out via email at work. This newsletter included a short profile I wrote on myself.
This autoprofile included information about my education, past experiance and hobbies. If you have spent more than two minutes on my blog you might have noticed that one of my favorite hobbies is photography. Later that day I received an email from a well respected programmer from another group. She was wondering if I would mind teaching her some photography basics. Tonight we meet at the Greenway walking path and spend about an hour talking about photography basics. This reminded me that sometimes I forget just how complex the basics of photography can be.
With any luck I think perhaps I can turn this into a photography group. All I need is another three people and I think it could be a good group. All in all it was pretty good day despite the fact that my alergies are trying to kill me like they always day every year when the leaves start falling.
